Instructions

1. Prepare the Egg Wash and Breading

Whisk together the eggs and milk in a small bowl to create the egg wash. In a separate bowl, mix the bread crumbs with the onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. This seasoned coating gives your cheese curds a flavorful crunch.

2. Coat the Cheese Curds

Roll each chilled cheese curd in flour, ensuring an even coating. Next, dip the floured curds into the egg wash, fully coating them. Finally, roll the wet curds in the bread crumb mixture, pressing gently to help the coating stick. Repeat with all curds.

3. Arrange in the Air Fryer

Place the coated cheese curds in a single layer in the air fryer basket or rack. Avoid overcrowding, as this helps them crisp evenly. Lightly spray the curds with cooking spray to enhance the golden crunch.

4. Air Fry to Perfection

Set the air fryer to 350°F and cook for 5-8 minutes until the breading is golden brown and crispy and the cheese inside is melted. Keep an eye on them—cheese curds cook quickly!

5. Serve and Enjoy

Remove the cheese curds from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute before serving. Pair them with marinara sauce, ranch, or your favorite dip for the ultimate snack.
